A month in review - 9/29/13

Today was a day of sweeping upstairs.  No commentary for these photos...  The floors may not look clean, but they are much better than they were before.  This is a long, slow process, of cleaning layer after layer.  I'm hesitant to use water on the floor because it may just turn to mud!

The wall is down!

A wall is being built outside so that we can tear off the front and return it to it's original beauty.

Check out the corner of the building where the brick is a lighter color.  We saw a picture this weekend of the building and there used to be a long narrow window there.

The wall that was removed from the inside of the building is now being repurposed on the outside!

Why did they paint the ceiling so many colors?!?!?!

The wall is coming down!

Dale's got his work cut out for him!  Lots of suspended ceiling to come down!

The work never ends!

Remember all the water damage on the 2nd floor?  This is what happens when it filters to the first floor.

A day of sweeping.

Alley building wall.  See detail in next picture.

That would be brick under the plaster!  Question: Do we take on more work and remove the plaster to expose the brick wall?

Basement is clean!

See the metal at the top?  Dale is getting ready to take of the plywood to see what's behind it.

WHOA!  Look at what he uncovered!

There's only about 20 feet left of this beautiful wall.  The rest was removed years ago.  So sad.

For Lease

The building is officially for lease!
